2022 On Property Sale Report

Last year’s record price of $23,000 has been beaten. There was a full clearance of the 160 magnificent big bodied, free growing, white wooled, White River rams – selling to a top of $24,000 a new stud on property record and averaging $3270.

Success at Hay Sheep Show 2022

SUCCESS AT HAY MERINO SHEEP SHOW

We had an extremely successful day at the 70th Hay Merino Sheep Show at the weekend.

A White River Poll Merino Ram won the Riverina Wool Australian Champion Hogget Ram award from a line up of 40 entrants across three states: SA, Vic and NSW.

The Riverina Wool Champion Ram is a Grandson of a Moorundie Park ram purchased by White River at the Adelaide Ram Sale in 2017, and from a daughter of Old Ashrose 594 purchased for $27,000 in 2015.

A White River Stud Ewe also won the Nutrien Ag Solutions Champion Hogget Merino Ewe from an impressive lineup of entrants.

· Champion Strong Wool March Shorn Ewe

· Reserve Champion Strong Wool March Shorn Ewe

· Champion March Shorn Ewe

· Winner of the pen of three ewe weaners.

White River 2021 On Property Sale

The sale got off to a flying start with lots 1 to 10 setting the scene for the day – lot 1 and 3 was purchased for $7500 and $10,500 respectively by new client Wise Family Trust, Katanning WA, via AuctionsPlus before lot 2 sold to repeat buyer NJ & EE MacCartney, of Coreen NSW, for $12,500 also via AuctionsPlus.

WHITE River Poll Merino and Merino stud, Poochera, achieved another outstanding result at its 41^st annual ram sale last Thursday with a total clearance of 187 big bodied, heavy cutting rams to a $15,000 high and impressive $2469 average.
